| December 13, 2005 - It's hard to fathom another year has gone by the boards. 2005 was a big one, I not only turned thirty, kept the same charming girl by my side for all year, but I slipped through and managed to not have to answer to a boss for the third year in a row. |

The year was a generally frustrating year, filled with a lot of good times but accumulated a dark cloud hanging around the periphery throughout. Mired in an artistic slump for the first third of the year, I was able to get my act together to churn out 20 new works for a big solo show in August. The year hit its apex on the quiet afternoon of November 5th, 2005. It was in the early afternoon when the long awaited show put together by Ian Shults and I opened to the public. I'm pretty sure "Will There Ever be a Rainbow" was
the biggest show of unicorn art in Texas in 2005, and its still mentioned in high regard around the city.
So, spend some time looking around the following links to catch up with everything that touched my bean this year. I've also decided on naming a 'Hero of the Year' for 2005, so if you weren't already filled with breathless anticipation, you most likely are now.
2006 can't be any worse than 2005, so with big a couple of big solo shows scheduled for next year, and plans on not starving for one more year, things should turn out alright. So stay tuned for all the details as they happen.
