| Five Questions over Two Drinks... The idea for this series of semi-regular interviews came from a few sources: my curiosity and interest in the work and lives of other artists I know, and with my frustration with the amount of attention and publicity well deserving artists should be receiving in Austin. The purpose of these interviews is not to critically dissect their work, but to ask them questions that begins to explore and explain their work and lives, uncovering their motives and fears as artists in America today.
The name of the interview series, Five Over Two, comes from meshing the format of the interviews, five questions, asked over a couple of drinks with the artist.
