| The Big Dig. Is there any city in
the world that is run by more corrupt people that is more deserving
than Boston of such corruption on such a large scale? The $15
billion dollar project to build one tunnel, one bridge and submerge
about five miles of highways sure did cost a lot, but the results
are pretty fascinating. The last time I saw the project, all
of downtown was still shrouded in construction jersey barriers, the
tunnel was open, but no big pieces were falling just yet. My
brother told me the day they released a report detailing the
tunnel's safety, pieces of the three year old tunnel started falling
on cars. The entire project is an admirable design, but the
generations of jokes and costs associated with this little shin dig
aren't so funny. Still, I think much like the rest of America,
Boston gets what it wants and deserves what it gets. |

With the raised T station gone, it makes the arena look even uglier
than before. I never thought that was possible.

Bricks, what is my fascination with bricks? |

The new bridge, echoing Bunker Hill.
I still don't think I like it.
