It's time to play a little game - take a look at the
following set of pictures, and it's up to you to decide where these
pictures were shot. I'll give you a hint - it's not Boston's
FAO Schwartz, that closed a number of years ago when the company
went bankrupt. Notice the wide array of car books, model cars,
racetracks, license plate game, and the racks and racks of assorted
automobile related memorabilia.
Here's a hint: it's not a book store, a toy store,
nor is it the Sharper Image having a blow out sale on automobile
related products.
Go ahead, take a look and take a guess. |

GIVE UP?
Have any guesses?

automobile related merchandise?
Why it's the Museum of Fine Arts, where they had a paid admission
show (in addition to the regular cost of the museum) called, "Speed,
Style and Beauty" featuring the cars from the private collection of
Ralph Lauren.
After staring at a Renoir for twenty minutes trying to make sense
of his painted strokes, I turned into the next room and my senses
were met with this auto-assault.
Why do museums feel compelled to not even try anymore?
