Once again, my life intersected with Chuck Woolery selling land on TV. Instead of selling land in Arkansas, he's moved across the border and is now selling land to build homes on along the I35 corridor between Austin and Dallas. I guess I shouldn't be surprised by anything anymore, especially late night TV ads
and infomercials, but perhaps he's got a good thing going, and besides, who besides Bob Barker can be a game show host for as long as he has?
Anyway, I did some research and here's some things I didn't know about Chuck Woolery:
- He has a home in the Austin area
- He's a born Again Christian
- Divorced three times with eight children
- Also sells a line of fishing lures

The Hotel
Unlike our previous trip to Houston, we stayed start to finish in a lavish and large hotel for our whole stay. When we weren't busy working, we could be seen at one of the four pools on the property. The hotel also featured a pretty amazing Oriental art collection strewn abut the lobbies and floors. Here's a look around:
