2007: EMPLOYEES OF THE YEAR

It takes a lot of help to keep the vision together
"It is my pleasure to be at the Captain of this ship.  For over four years, the team at Schliefkevision has produced heaps of paintings and drawings, curated shows, published a comic book, taught painting lessons, custom built stretchers and frames, written countless press releases and still managed to update the website regularly.  Every employee here is a special member of the team, deserving of this award.  With continued growth, new technologies and new markets left to conquer, Schliefkevision finds itself well prepared to thrive in the future."

-Michael Schliefke
CEO, Schliefkevision

MARCH
I spent a week in Kerrville as the token white guy painting a mural with my great friends Marty and Charles.  Between hard days of work and late nights laughing, it was one of the best weeks of the year.  I came back in town to catch the entire SXSW debacle and kept finding more fodder for my comic book.
