2007: APRIL - JUNE | Another mural project that would soon become infamous in my comic book. | The second quarter of the year saw me spread out all over the place: working on a reality TV show, drawing more, painting more, and
continuing to refine the story behind the comic book. I also stepped outside the Texas state lines in the frozen streets of St. Louis, and watched with joy as summer was postponed on a daily basis with constant rains pouring down. |

APRIL
I finally escaped Texas and watched some college hockey with my dad in St. Louis. I saw some great art and the mind blowing Bowling Hall of Fame. I returned to Austin just in time to be last minute to work on a horrible reality TV show. With my schedule chock full of work, I started to draw more and paint less. |

MAY
In May I started to focus my figure drawing at Dr. Sketchy's, and inadvertently set up my friend David Ohlerking with the striped sock splendor of the Spank Dance Girls. With a couple of art shows coming up, I broke out the paints and concentrated my efforts on producing ten new canvases. |

JUNE
With an amazing show of drawings by my studiomate Meg Stone setting the bar really high, I continued to paint for my own show in July, and officially finished the story behind my comic book. I dug my heels in and started the storyboards, not knowing just how much work I had gotten myself into.
