After months of a bored, uninspired ennui, I finally found a gear to start to get some work done in studio. Lots of sketching, plotting and writing are leading up to a big year end finish.
Things are beginning to turn the corner and art production, while only existing in the deep past, seems to be building towards happening again soon. Writing, sketching and a mural make up the bunch of my workload this month.
December is a hard month to stay focused on work. With holidays looming, end of the year bills piling up, and projects yearning for closure, December is a test to see just how much work you can finish. So I worked on paintings, printmaking and an unexpected project: a kids mural.
Political Satire and Art No new images this month from the studio, as a lot of weird, wayward progress is slowly being made on my new work. Instead, I’ll leave you with some insight into the thoughts, worries, indecision and desires of where exactly I want my work to head.
